Birds of a Color
Art Classes
I offer a variety of art classes based upon the ages/maturity level of the students. Grouping students by age allows them to work on projects that are designed specifically for their abilities and helps me teach them about art history and cultures using methods that are most effective for their age and skill level.
Ages 5-7
After School Art Class
Monday's 4:00-5:00
September 12 - May 17
This class is designed for students with not previous art instruction. Students will be learning basic art production skills that strengthen fine motor control, and help the budding artist work with confidence. The curriculum focuses on the elements and principles of design while exploring a variety of media. In addition to teaching fundamental art skills, projects are designed to teach students about artists and cultures throughout history.

September 12 - May 17
This class is designed for the budding artist with some art experience. In this class students will be developing and refining art productions skills. The curriculum focuses on the elements and principles of design while exploring a variety of media. In addition to developing fundamental art skills projects are designed to teach students about artists and cultures throughout history.
Ages 12-18
After School Art Class
Tuesday's 3:30-5:00
September 12 - May 17
This class is designed for the more mature developing artist with some art experience. The curriculum focuses on the elements and principle of design while exploring a variety of media. Lessons in this class specifically focus on drawing fundamentals and techniques. In addition to developing fundamental art skills projects are designed to teach students about artists and cultures through out history.
